During the winter snow season, all visitors are required to pay either an entrance fee or a parking fee if they intend to drive their own vehicle. Alternatively, they can opt for bus transportation. Parking space on Mt Buller is limited, and particularly on weekends and school holidays, the mountain often reaches full capacity by 10 AM. Therefore, it's strongly advised to purchase these permits well in advance of your planned visit.

An entry fee is applicable to all vehicles accessing Mt Buller or Mt Stirling during the snow season. This fee contributes to essential services such as road maintenance and parking provisions. Ensure to pre-purchase your entry permit using the provided "Buy Now" button.

• Valid for vehicles with 9 or fewer seats.

• Commercial operators are not eligible; separate bus entry fees apply.

• Parking areas are situated 1 to 4 kilometers below the Mt Buller Village. (Note: access to the Mt Buller Village is not permitted from these parking areas).

Important Reminder:

All vehicles must be equipped with diamond pattern wheel chains. These chains are mandatory from the entry point at Mirimbah onwards. Wheel chains can be rented in Mansfield but are not available for hire on the mountain.
